Refund policy for CBAM Congress and Workshops:
A. Refund policy for domestic attendees or attendees who do not need a visa invitation letter:
1. If the request for cancelation of the ticket and a refund is received before 60 days from the first day of the congress, the full payment is refundable.
2. If the request for cancelation of the ticket and a refund is received between 30 to 60 days from the first day of the congress, 50% of the full payment is refundable and the other 50% can be used as a credit to purchase other products or services of CBAM and the attendance of the student in the Congress is canceled.
3. If the request for a refund is received less than 30 days from the first day of the congress, the payment is non-refundable. This payment can be used as a credit to purchase other products or services of CBAM and the attendance of the student in the Congress is canceled.
B. Refund policy for international attendees who need a visa invitation letter:
International attendees who require an invitation letter for immigration or visa application purposes must pay the event fee in advance, and an additional fee of $150 CAD plus tax (non-refundable) for the visa invitation letter application for the conference ticket. This application fee is waived for Elite Access tickets.
For these attendees, from the time their invitation is issued, the payment made for the ticket is non-refundable, even if the attendee decides for any reason not to attend the event. However, if the applicant proves that their visa was rejected, or if the visa approval arrives after the date of the event, 50% of their payment for the ticket will be credited to the attendee’s CBAM account. This credit can be used for any future CBAM events or courses.
In case of a visa rejection, CBAM will provide a second visa invitation letter free of charge only to those individuals who intend to participate in the subsequent CBAM Congress, to support the attendee’s application.
